Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, born May 9, 2000, is an environmental activist, hip-hop artist, and powerful voice for youth advocacy. Raised in Boulder, Colorado, with Aztec heritage, he grew up with a deep connection to nature and was speaking out for environmental justice by the age of six. As the former Youth Director of Earth Guardians, Martinez rallied young people globally to combat climate change and was a plaintiff in the landmark lawsuit Juliana v. United States, which sought to hold the government accountable for inaction on climate change.
