Venedig

Venice, often referred to as the “City of Canals,” is a remarkable city in northeastern Italy known for its unique waterways and rich historical heritage. Situated across a group of 118 small islands linked by over 400 bridges and separated by a network of canals, Venice is renowned for its architectural beauty and artistic achievements. The city’s layout is dictated by the canals, including the Grand Canal, which snakes through the cityscape. Venice is also famous for its significant role in the history of symphonic and operatic music and is the birthplace of Antonio Vivaldi, a well-known Baroque composer.
