He is one of Europe’s most successful golfers, having won six major championships: three Masters Titles and three Open Championships. His career peaked in the late 1980s and early 1990s when he was renowned for his meticulous preparation and mental toughness. Faldo spent a total of 97 weeks as the World No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings and has more than 40 professional wins to his credit.
