Still one of the best places if you like to boost your business, but it’s a terribly loud and noisy city with old infrastructure and rising crime
It’s been a while since I’ve been in NY, but I always enjoyed the ambiance of a city that just goes on and on, day and night. However, I would also say that in recent years there has been a significant decline and investments in infrastructure are needed. Politics may also not be the best…
A rapidly declining city, as are so many in the US currently.
I wouldn’t want to live there, but for occasional visits, shopping, and enjoying the street food, it’s worth a visit every couple of years.
It’s a relic from the past. Once you’ve seen cities like Singapore, Shanghai, and Tokyo, you realize why New York will never that important anymore.
Going through immigration at JFK Airport, you immediately get a vibe that you are not actually welcome. It’s a rough city—loud, stinky, and the prices are insane. The service is mediocre at best. As a tourist, you are far better off visiting truly beautiful cities like Paris, Rome, or Vienna in Europe. There, everything from the architecture to the food to the prices will be pleasing.
Personally, I like New York very much and have fantastic memories of this vibrant, never-sleeping city.
