Larry Page is an American computer scientist and entrepreneur renowned for co-founding Google Inc. with Sergey Brin in 1998. Born on March 26, 1973, in East Lansing, Michigan, Page grew up in an environment steeped in computer science, which shaped his future endeavors. He studied at the University of Michigan and later at Stanford University for his master’s degree, where he met Brin. Their collaboration at Stanford led to the creation of a search engine that utilized a new method of ranking web pages based on links, laying the groundwork for Google. As Google’s CEO, Page oversaw major innovations and expansions in various tech sectors, including advertising and mobile technologies. In 2015, he led the formation of Alphabet Inc., a conglomerate that made Google a subsidiary and housed various other ventures. Larry Page served as Alphabet’s CEO until stepping down in 2019 but remains a pivotal figure in technology and innovation.
