Gary Player, born on November 1, 1935, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a renowned professional golfer whose career has left a significant mark on international golf. Known as one of the original “Big Three” of golf, alongside Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, Player won nine major championships and achieved the career Grand Slam, one of only five golfers to do so.
