Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s co-founder, has stepped down from the board of Bluesk, a decentralized social media project he helped fund. Bluesky confirmed his departure and is now seeking a replacement board member.

Dorsey’s reasons for leaving remain undisclosed. His recent activity on X, including unfollowing nearly all accounts and praising the platform, has fueled speculation about his future focus.

Dorsey backed Bluesky in 2019, aiming to create an open-source standard for social media. He later joined its board when it became independent of Twitter in 2022. However, his recent involvement with Bluesky seemed limited.
