He is considered one of the greatest athletes in history, having won ten Olympic medals, including nine golds, across four Olympic Games (1984, 1988, 1992, and 1996). Lewis dominated the sprint and long jump events during his career, setting world records in the 100 meters, 4×100 meters relay, and long jump. His achievements in athletics have earned him numerous accolades, including being named “Sportsman of the Century” by the International Olympic Committee and “Olympian of the Century” by Sports Illustrated.
