Cardi B is an American rapper, songwriter, and television personality known for her bold style and powerful lyrics. Born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar on October 11, 1992, in The Bronx, New York, she first gained fame as a cast member on the VH1 reality TV series “Love & Hip Hop: New York.” Cardi B’s music career took off with the release of her debut single “Bodak Yellow,” which soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” broke several streaming records and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, making her the first solo female artist to win in that category. Her influence extends beyond music, as she is also recognized for her outspoken political opinions and advocacy for social justice issues
