Brett Favre, born on October 10, 1969, in Gulfport, Mississippi, is a former professional American football quarterback who spent the majority of his career with the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. Favre played for 20 seasons, during which he became known for his durability, strong arm, and aggressive playstyle. He started an NFL-record 297 consecutive games and won three consecutive NFL MVP awards from 1995 to 1997. Favre led the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XXXI and made an appearance in Super Bowl XXXII. Over his career, he amassed numerous NFL records, including most career touchdown passes and most career passing yards at the time of his retirement. Favre was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. His legacy is defined by his resilience, passion for the game, and influence as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
