He first gained recognition on the Nickelodeon series “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide” and later starred in “The Carrie Diaries” and “Switched at Birth.” Butler’s breakthrough role came with his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2022 biographical film “Elvis,” directed by Baz Luhrmann, for which he received critical acclaim and several award nominations.
