Sebastian Coe

Sebastian Coe, born on September 29, 1956, in London, England, is a prominent figure in athletics, both as a former middle-distance runner and as a sports administrator. Coe won four Olympic medals, including golds in the 1500 meters at the 1980 and 1984 Games. He set multiple world records over his career, significantly impacting the 800 meters and 1500 meters events. After retiring from competitive running, Coe played a key role in bringing the 2012 Olympics to London and served as the chairman of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games. He is currently the president of the World Athletics, formerly known as the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
