Venezuela

Venezuela is a country located on the northern coast of South America, bordered by Colombia to the west, Brazil to the south, Guyana to the east, and the Caribbean Sea to the north. The capital and largest city is Caracas, known for its cultural diversity and as a center for political, economic, and cultural activities. Venezuela is endowed with some of the world’s largest oil reserves, which have historically played a significant role in shaping its economy. However, in recent years, the country has faced severe economic crises, marked by hyperinflation, shortages of basic goods, and political instability.

Venezuela boasts a rich cultural heritage influenced by Indigenous, African, and Spanish traditions, reflected in its music, dance, and cuisine. The country’s geography is varied, featuring the Andes Mountains in the west, extensive plains called llanos in the center, and the Amazon rainforest in the south. Venezuela is also home to Angel Falls, the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall, located in Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Despite its current challenges, Venezuela remains a country with a vibrant culture and extraordinary natural beauty.
